    • Global design firm, AFRY (Stockholm, Sweden) acquired 6-person software and expertise company, Ramentor (Tampere, Finland). With the acquisition, AFRY further strengthens its digitalization capabilities and advances Ramentor’s offering for clients.

    • Burns Architecture (Springfield, MO) merged with Ireland Architects (Springfield, MO), a firm with a long history of design and project oversight for medical and mental health facilities.

    • DFC Architects (Winchester, VA) and Leesa Mayfield Architecture (Winchester, VA) merged to form DFC LMA Architecture, a full-service design firm specializing in the residential sector.

    • Barton & Loguidice (Liverpool, NY), a Northeast and Mid-Atlantic engineering, planning, environmental and landscape architecture firm, acquired Anchor Engineering Services (Glastonbury, CT), a multi disciplined engineering and land surveying firm. This milestone marks the company’s first venture in Connecticut and brings its reach to over 350 employees across five states. Link to Details

    • Site design specialist, PEA Group (Troy, MI) completed a merger with Brewer Engineering (Houston, TX), a civil engineering firm focused mainly on site and land development. Houston will become the first Texas location, and fifth overall, for PEA Group.

    • Copley Equity Partners (Quincy, MA) announced that it has completed an investment to recapitalize, and facilitate the merger of Aethon Aerial Solutions (Burlington, Canada) and Flight Evolved (San Diego, CA). The combination of the two creates one of the most technologically advanced aerial inspection companies dedicated to asset management for utilities in North America.

    • Multi-discipline professional services firm, Willett, Hofmann & Associates (Dixon, IL) acquired Ament Design (Arlington Heights, IL), which has been providing engineering, land surveying, and architectural design services for over 35 years. The combined entity will have a staff of nearly 70 employees.

    • Ten Eyck Landscape Architects (Austin, TX) absorbed Ecosystem Design Group (Austin, TX). EDG will function as an independent ecologically focused consulting group providing standalone outside consulting services for other design firms.

    • TWM (Swansea, IL), a 100% employee-owned firm providing civil and structural engineering, land surveying, and other geospatial services, acquired Harrah and Associates (Brentwood, TN), a family owned business that provides surveying and planning services to clients throughout the Southeast.

    • LaBella Associates (Rochester, NY) acquired Highland Technical Services (Birmingham, AL), which offers services in hazardous waste, solid waste, brownfield redevelopments, storm water, air permitting, underground storage tank management and various types of environmental assessments and permitting.
