Zweig Group adds Veronica Porter to ElevateHER™ team
Zweig Group is proud to announce the addition of Veronica Porter, MBA, to the ElevateHER™ team as the new program coordinator. This is a new role added by Zweig Group to signify the growth of the ElevateHER initiative and continued program expansion.
ElevateHer™ was developed to embrace, promote, and ensure equal opportunities for all professionals in the AEC industry regardless of gender, age, race, sexual orientation, or ethnicity. It is a cohort-style annual program designed to define key strategies and provide open-sourced, accessible action plans to tackle diversity and its role in recruiting and retention issues.
In addition to her expansive resume with experience in strategic market planning, brand development, and corporate business development, Porter was a member of the inaugural 2020 cohort, an experience that will give her the background to step into the new role naturally as well as continue to improve and further the experience of the cohort members.

I’ve always had a strong desire to help advance women and other underrepresented groups in the industry,” said Porter. “This is an exciting time in the AEC industry and I’m so glad to be a part of this influential program to move the industry forward.”
Porter will continue her role with Waggonner Engineering as Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer and is adding this new position to her responsibilities.
