- ENR #27 and ZG Hot Firm #1, NV5 (Hollywood, FL) acquired PES Environmental (Novato, CA). PES Environmental’s line of environmental engineering and consulting services will help support NV5’s infrastructure projects as well as NV5’s inspection and testing services. Link to Details
- Green Street (Clayton, MO), a real estate development firm, is in discussions of acquiring O’Toole Design Associates (Creve Coeur, MO), an interior design agency. The acquisition follows Green Street’s acquisition of HDA Architects in an effort to expand in-house service offerings. Link to Details
- Wightman (Benton Harbor, MI), a full-service A/E firm, has acquired Reynolds Land Surveying (Hastings, MI). The acquisition is part of Wightman’s efforts to expand the Land Survey part of their business as well as expanding into the Hastings area market. Link to Details

- Rimkus Consulting Group (Houston, TX), an international provider of forensic engineering and technical consulting, has acquired M&E Engineering Consultants (Vaughan, Canada), a mechanical and electrical engineering consulting firm who specializes in Commercial, Institutional and High-Rise Residential markets. - Private Equity firm KKR (New York, NY) has acquired a majority stake in ENR #14 ERM (London, UK), one of the world’s premier environmental and sustainability firms. KKR will acquire its holding in ERM from OMERS Private Equity and Investment Management Corporation. Link to Details
- The global civil engineering giant, AFRY (Stockholm, Sweden) has acquired Pinja Industry Oy (Jyvaskyla, Finland), an engineering automation and machine vision firm who operates solely in the production and industrial markets. Link to Details
