    Domestic Transactions:

    • Burgess & Niple (Columbus, OH) has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase CMA Engineering, Inc. (Austin, TX). CMA  provides land development and civil engineering services focused on utility design in the central Texas region. Link to Details
    • An affiliate of Peak Rock Capital (Austin, TX), a leading middle-market private investment firm, announced today that it has completed an acquisition of SAM Companies (Austin, TX). SAM Companies is a leading provider of geospatial services to utility, transportation and broader infrastructure clients. Link to Details
    • RMA Group of Companies (Rancho Cucamonga, CA)a leading provider of technology-enabled laboratory testing, inspection and quality management services for critical infrastructure end markets, announced that it has received a strategic investment from an affiliate of OceanSound Partners, LP (New York, NY). Link to Details
    • Ambient Energy, Inc. (Denver, CO) a design firm specializing in commissioning, energy analysis and sustainable design has joined the Mead & Hunt (Middleton, WI) team. This acquisition allows Mead & Hunt to expand its sustainability services while simultaneously giving Ambient Energy a larger platform to serve current and future clients. Link to Details

    • Employee-owned infrastructure engineering firm, Volkert (Mobile, AL) recently acquired Kennedy Engineering & Associates Group, LLC (Atlanta, GA) a transportation engineering firm focused on planning, design, environmental and CEI services. Link to Details
    • Wind Point Partners (Chicago, IL), a Chicago-based private equity firm, announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell portfolio company RailWorks Corp. (New York, NY) to Bernhard Capital Partners Management, LP, (Baton Rouge, LA) a services and infrastructure-focused private equity group.     • Evolution Capital Partners, LLC (Cleveland, OH) announced its latest growth investment, EnviroScience Consultants, Inc. (Ronkonkoma, NY), an environmental consulting firm that provides a range of inspection and testing services to schools, property owners and healthcare institutions throughout the state of New York. Link to Details
