    Drake Hamilton is an analyst within Zweig Group’s Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory group. Drake works with a variety of companies across the AEC industry.

    Drake joined Zweig Group as an intern, Fall of 2018, and recently joined our DFW office as a full-time analyst. Prior to joining Zweig Group, Drake worked in several capacities including institutional finance, asset management, valuation, and financial & operations analysis.

    Drake earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from University of Arkansas’ Sam Walton Honors Program.

    Andy Chavez is an analyst within Zweig Group’s Advisory Services Group. Andy is responsible for cross-functional support to the Strategic Planning, Ownership Transition and Mergers and Acquisitions advisory groups. He also works on financial analysis and market research.

    Andy joined Zweig Group as an intern, Spring of 2018, and recently our DFW office as a full-time analyst. Prior to joining Zweig Group, he performed financial analysis for a multi-million-dollar company that is closely affiliated with the University. He also has experience in construction and development in the DFW metroplex.

    Andy earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Arkansas’ Sam Walton College of Business. Outside of Zweig Group, Andy is an avid fan of the Dallas Mavericks and Texas Rangers.

    Dawn has successfully partnered with her colleagues in Management, Operations, Business Development and Marketing internally within two large construction (a national, privately held and an internationally, publicly traded) companies to achieve significant sales growth.     Bill Fox comes to Zweig Group after 11 years as a business consultant and Center Director for the Small Business and Technology Development Center at the University of Arkansas. During his career at the U of A, Bill worked and consulted with businesses from a wide range of business sectors, from retail and restaurants, to health care and professional services. He has conducted numerous seminars on a variety of topics including; business planning and strategy, starting a business, marketing, cash flow management, financing options, and more. Bill also taught Strategic Management as an adjunct faculty at the Sam M. Walton College of Business.

    Prior to his time at the University, Bill had been a small business owner, worked for a large national bank, and in higher education and workforce development.

    Bill holds a BBA from Florida Atlantic University and an MBA from West Virginia University.

    Margot is a videographer and editor by way of fine and commercial visual art and has become a jack-of-many-visual-arts-trades. She joined Zweig Group in November of 2017 and develops video projects to not only educate, but also tell compelling stories of businesses and people in the AEC industry.

    As a fine artist with a passion for many digital methods, Margot quickly realized she was uniquely qualified to do a lot of seemingly disparate things. Beginning as a freelancer in graphic arts to a job in outdoor advertising to designing for high profile clients in the printing industry to designing apparel, Margot eventually became the Art Director and Promotions Producer for two television stations. She held these positions for over 10 years, all the while refining her video production abilities.

    Chad Coldiron is Zweig Group’s Director of Executive Search. Passionate about team building and working along side design firms to enhance their team’s overall presence in the AEC industry. His professional background has included experience in the areas of leadership, retention, recruiting, sales, risk management, social behaviors and contract negotiation.

    Prior to joining Zweig Group, Chad developed and directed the client retention department for one of the fastest growing independent insurance brokerages in the U.S. Since joining Zweig Group as a consultant he has worked with AEC firms throughout the U.S. on a variety of strategic hiring initiatives as well as organizational restructuring, ownership transition, employee training, marketing, and growth campaigns. He brings a unique approach to building the right teams in order maximize the client’s growth potential while driving down their overall cost per hire.

    Chad launched his career by developing strong and valuable relationships in the local and professional communities around Northwest Arkansas. He holds a BS in Financial Management from the University of Arkansas’ Walton College of Business.     Will leads Zweig Group’s research team and ownership transition consulting group. He received his BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and his MBA from the University of Arkansas with a focus on entrepreneurship. During that time, Will developed financial models and aided in the fundraising for a startup that has raised over 20 million dollars in capital.

    Will has worked closely with management teams across the US to develop ownership transition plans, ranging from simple one-to-one transactions to complex projects that require a great deal of modeling and stakeholder education. Will analyzes and reports on the data AEC managers need to run successful firms. From developing benchmarking tools to compensation programs for transition planning, Will builds resources for decision makers.

    Prior to joining Zweig Group, Will provided navigation and telemetry services for oil exploration projects, conducting data analysis for the integration of GPS and seismic readouts. Will comes from a long line of architects and has a passion for the industry that is unmatched.

    In his role as Awards Manager, Kyle works very closely with some of the best and fastest growing firms in the country. He has played a key part in growing this area of Zweig Group’s business.

    Kyle started at the firm after finishing his BA in Sociology and Criminal Justice at the University of Arkansas. While at Arkansas, he worked on the American Terrorism Study at the Terrorism Research Center in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. It is the nation’s only comprehensive longitudinal database on American terrorism. He has held several roles at Zweig Group including executive search, marketing, strategic planning, and research and database work. Kyle has also written for The Zweig Letter.

    Mark is known as a leading expert in management and business for the architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental industry. Approaching four decades as a student of the industry, Mark knows AEC firms inside and out. While he started working in bike shops at the age of 12, he began his professional career in a management consulting firm specialized in the construction and development industries, followed up by work as a principal and manager in two different AEC firms.

    Over the course of his career, Mark has worked with AEC firms of virtually all sizes and types throughout the U.S. and abroad and helped them solve just about every problem, including developing strategy, turnarounds, partner separations, organizational restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, reenergizing marketing, cash flow crises, ownership transitions, and much more.

    Mark founded Mark Zweig & Associates in 1988, which later became Zweig White in 1994, and then Zweig Group in 2014. Zweig Group, today based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, has been named to the Inc 500/5000 list of fastest-growing privately-held companies three times.

    Mark is the author of more than a dozen books on various management and business topics for AEC firms, and has co-authored several more. He has served on the BODs of many different privately-held AEC firms, ranging from $10 million to $200 million in annual revenues.  He is an Executive-in-Residence teaching entrepreneurship at The Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas and in the Fay Jones School of Architecture as an adjunct professor, also at the University of Arkansas.

    Mark received both his MBA and BS in Organizational Behavior from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He was named to the SIU-C College of Business Hall of Fame in 1992, elected to the College of Business Board of Advisors in 1999, and named Chairman of the Advisory Board in 2002.

    Chad Clinehens is the president and CEO of Zweig Group.     Randy first worked for ZweigWhite in the firm’s executive search team in the 1990s/2000s, and was an owner in the firm. He left the firm when it was sold in 2004 to join a private equity group.     Christy Zweig Niehues has a long history of involvement with management consulting and the AEC industry. She has held a number of roles at Zweig Group, including writing and researching for The Zweig Letter, and civil + structural ENGINEER magazine.  She currently is the firm’s marketing director as well as the leader of the marketing consulting division.

    Christy has a passion for online marketing and has worked with many AEC Firms to find the best processes and methods to drive new and repeat business for their individual organizations. Her marketing experience also includes work at The Sustainability Consortium, as a licensed Real Estate Agent, and she runs a horse boarding and training operation for off the track thoroughbreds.  She holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Arkansas.

    Marci is the adult learning strategist and experience designer who drives Zweig Group’s corporate learning division’s direction, goals and policies, including the evolving ‘what’s next’ nature of AEC training and development. Marci helps clients to develop workforce development processes, including: knowledge management, training strategies, technology delivery, and ROI structure.

    Marci is well-known in the greater adult-learning community, as a speaker and author for trade publications (e.g., Successful Strategies for Distance Learning); she was recently named a “2018 Changemaker” by MeetingsNet and completed two consecutive terms on ASAE’s Professional Development Section Council. Marci studied Social Work at Bowie State University, completed Seth Godin’s altMBA leadership program and received an Instructional Design Certificate from the Association for Talent Development. Marci holds certificates from ASAE University in Association Management and the Business of Meetings.

    Before joining Zweig Group, Marci held dual roles at Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) as Chief Learning Officer and Vice President of Knowledge and Professional Development where she developed deep roots in the AEC industry. At SMPS, she developed adult education initiatives, managed the Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) credentialing program and reimagined face-to-face and online learning offerings.  As the Associate Director of Education and Online Training at the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, she launched an intensive instructor-led virtual lab and revitalized APIC’s online learning program.     Carla has 37 years’ experience in the AEC industry and is highly respected by clients, former employers, co-workers, and colleagues. After serving as Chief Marketing Officer for NAC Architecture for three years and Global Marketing Director for MG2 Architecture for 10, she was recruited by Core States Group to serve as their Senior Director of Marketing and completed a successful rebrand of the firm. She recently joined Zweig Group to provide training in leadership, marketing, business development, the customer experience, and employee engagement.

    Throughout her career, and as the owner of her own consulting firm, Carla has enjoyed training and mentoring others.  She has delivered educational programs and presentations for SMPS, AIA, AGC, ACEC, SDA, NAWIC, and has presented numerous in-house training programs. With over 200 seminars, workshops, and presentations to her credit, she has also published numerous articles in national publications and won more than a dozen marketing communication awards for branding, marketing collateral, internal communications, special events—including two back-to-back Zweig Group Best of Show awards for external communications.

    She was named a SMPS Fellow 1999, the highest level of achievement in the industry and, in 2018, she was the 27th individual to receive the Weld Coxe Lifetime Marketing Achievement Award, the Society’s highest honor, in recognition for her career achievements, leadership roles, and lasting contributions to the industry.

    Over the last 19 years, Tracey has completed valuations ranging from small businesses to multi-million dollar operating companies to holding companies with a variety of assets.  She has worked in the industry since 2010 and specializes in valuations for architecture, engineering and planning firms. Assignments include companies in the United States, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Spain.  Additionally, Tracey serves as an expert witness on business valuation litigation matters.

    Tracey holds the senior-level Certified Business Appraiser (CBA) designation conferred by The Institute of Business Appraisers, the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation conferred by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, the Business Certified Appraiser (BCA) designation conferred by the International Society of Business Appraisers, and the Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser (CMEA) designation conferred by the NEBB Institute.

    Tracey currently serves as the co-chair of the International Society of Business Appraisers’ Board of Governors.  She holds a BS from Louisiana Tech University and an MBA from the University of Arkansas, Sam M. Walton College of Business.  She is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers, NACVA, the NEBB Institute, and the International Society of Business Appraisers.

    Sarah is a strategic visionary with nearly 20 years of experience in professional services firm strategy, marketing, and implementation.  A past VP of Global Marketing & Strategy, she is known as a change agent, frequently hired by firms to create a strategy rooted in research, business practice, and scale resulting in their unique growth plan. Sarah’s career has taken her from a well-regarded regional firm, to a national K-12 firm to begin a higher education practice so successful that it went global, to a Global Interior Architecture firm focused on Hospitality.  Her experience and understanding of differing markets across the globe, project types, and growth strategies bring thoughtful, tailored solutions to Zweig Group’s clients. Sarah has an Interdisciplinary BA in Business and Communications and in Spanish.
